Hey!

Welcome to my page. My name is Josephine Valdes Sarcinello, I'm an Artist-Cosmetologist based in South Florida and the proud owner of JVVS Beauty! My relationship with art and beauty starts very early, my mother being a hairstylist, an artist and a single mom; I had the privilege of growing up surrounded by creativity and in salons. My first job was at thirteen years old as a Jr. Assistant where I performed shampoos, mixed color etc. In the many years since then I have apprenticed at a variety of salons, all different environments and clientele, from New York City to Miami. In 2019 I decided to dedicate my career to working with focus on natural textures.

I currently accept appointments in Plantation, Florida. I also travel regularly to accept appointments in New York City for select dates only.

I offer curl services that comes with gentle guidance for anyone dedicated to their natural hair texture. I am very passionate about educating myself and my clients on healthy hair practices while curating an at-home regimen that best suits their needs free of judgment. My goal is to restore your hair to its most healthiest state and showing you how to do the same at home.  

I have empowered many of people to embrace their natural texture, whether working with their current hair canvas or starting fresh with a big chop. I also enjoy working with color and I always encourage to step out of the box with creative and edgy styles to help you achieve your dream look!
